VISANG announced on December 17 that it has been reselected as a partner company for the Inclusive Business Solution (IBS) program led by the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), and has signed an agreement to implement the “Vietnam Secondary and High School Korean Language Education and Digital Transformation Project Using an AI-Powered EdTech Platform.”
The IBS program is one of KOICA’s flagship public–private partnership initiatives, designed to address social challenges in developing countries by leveraging the business capabilities of private enterprises. VISANG was reappointed as an implementing partner in recognition of its achievements in the previous IBS project conducted from 2019 to 2024, during which it established a nationwide digital Korean language education foundation across Vietnam. The new project has a total budget of KRW 1.8 billion, jointly funded by KOICA and VISANG on a 50:50 matching basis, and will run from 2025 to 2028.
Through this agreement, VISANG plans to deploy its AI-powered EdTech platform to Vietnamese middle and high schools, gradually expanding a K-12 digital learning environment suitable for public education. While demand for Korean language education in Vietnam continues to grow, limited school availability and regional disparities remain key challenges. VISANG expects that a digital learning system will significantly enhance educational access.
AllviA CL, VISANG’s integrated digital education platform, combines essential components for modern classrooms, including AI, video solutions, e-learning, LMS, and smart learning tools. The platform is further enhanced through integration with the AI-based conversational learning solution AI Speak 2.0 and the AI Teaching Assistant Agent, which provides curriculum-based personalized Q&A and e-learning recommendations to improve classroom efficiency. Through this project, AllviA CL will initially be introduced to 150 middle and high school classes in Vietnam, serving approximately 3,000 students and 300 teachers.
Meanwhile, VISANG has recently signed an MOU with Hanoi Education Investment and Development JSC (HEID), an affiliate of Vietnam Education Publishing House (VEPH) under the Ministry of Education and Training, to jointly develop digital textbook content and AI-based learning features. This partnership is significant in laying the groundwork for supporting Vietnam’s public education digital transformation through an AI-powered platform.
Rho Joong-il, CEO of VISANG’s Global Company, stated, “While our IBS projects over the past five years focused on establishing a foundation for digital Korean language education in Vietnam, this new agreement marks an important starting point for expanding AI-powered education across the entire K-12 spectrum. By combining AI-based platforms with digital curriculum content, we aim to build a global standard for K-EdTech and actively contribute to the creation of a sustainable digital education ecosystem within Vietnam’s public education system.”
