Visang announced on March 26 that it has signed a five-year exclusive export agreement to supply its English learning program 'Challenge' to Paraguay. 'Challenge' is an immersive learning solution that incorporates Mixed Reality (MR) and Augmented Reality (AR) technologies to enhance student engagement.
This marks Visang’s second agreement with Sofía Clara Scheid Vázquez, an education researcher at the National University of Itapúa (UNI) and CEO of SS Educación, following their initial partnership in 2019 for the English learning program 'englisheye.'
Through this agreement, Visang plans to expand digital English learning access in Paraguay by providing ‘Challenge,’ following the successful supply of 'englisheye' to the country.
Previously, a four-month pilot program was conducted in Paraguay with local educational institutions, confirming the educational effectiveness of the 'Challenge' program.
The pilot program was carried out at public schools in Paraguay. Subsequently, a research paper validating the effectiveness of English learning using 'Challenge' was published in the Paraguayan multilingual research journal, Ñemitỹrã: Revista Multilingüe de Lengua, Sociedad y Educación.
According to the study, all learner groups who used 'Challenge' showed statistically significant improvements in listening, speaking, and phonics, along with overall English proficiency.
With this new agreement, Visang will provide 'Challenge' to the Paraguayan market in addition to 'englisheye,' aiming to further improve access to digital English education in the country.
Rho Joong-il, CEO of Visang Global Company, said, “Visang offers a wide range of digital learning solutions optimized for different levels of IT infrastructure across countries. We are pleased to bring 'Challenge' to Paraguay, where it can be used even in areas with limited educational infrastructure. Since the program only requires a digital whiteboard or a PC with a webcam, we expect it will help bridge the digital education gap for students who have had limited access.”
Meanwhile, Visang is preparing to finalize a similar agreement for 'Challenge' with a Thai company. The company plans to continue its international expansion by delivering EdTech solutions tailored to each country’s educational environment. This year, Visang will focus on building new partnerships in Southeast Asia and the Asia-Pacific region to strengthen its presence in the global EdTech market.
