Visang, a leading EdTech company, announced on the 11th that it hosted a delegation of key officials from Mongolia, the Philippines, and Indonesia, along with representatives from the World Bank.
Visang announced that on December 7, it hosted over 40 government officials from Mongolia, the Philippines, and Indonesia, along with representatives from the World Bank, at its headquarters in Guro District. The event featured a presentation on Visang’s successful digital transformation strategy and global EdTech expansion, followed by demonstrations of its digital products.
This visit was part of the “Korea Digital Capacity Building Program” jointly organized by the KDI Global Knowledge Exchange and Development Center (KDI GKEDC) and the World Bank. Aimed at strengthening digital capabilities across the Asia-Pacific region, Visang was the only Korean company selected as a key destination for the delegation.
Visang showcased global education solutions such as Math Alive, Oxford Discover, and master k as leading examples of effective digital integration into educational programs. The event also laid the foundation for building long-term knowledge partnerships with the three participating countries in the EdTech sector.
The Korea Digital Capacity Building Program ran for four days starting December 5. It was co-hosted by KDI GKEDC and the World Bank’s Digital Development and Education Global Practices to promote partnerships with developing countries and international organizations.
KDI GKEDC serves as a global knowledge-sharing platform, contributing to policy development and institutional reform through forward-looking research on national agendas. The World Bank, as an international financial institution, delivers innovative knowledge and solutions to global challenges, supporting poverty reduction and socioeconomic development.
A representative from the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) of the Philippines remarked, “The visit to Visang was a meaningful experience that offered the most insights into the EdTech sector.”
A representative from Indonesia’s Ministry of Public Works and Housing commented, “The program at Visang left a strong impression. Visang has developed digital education solutions that satisfy children’s fundamental need for play, while also enhancing learning outcomes and student engagement.”
Rho Joong-il, CEO of Visang Global Company, stated, “According to a recent OECD report, Korea ranked at the top in the latest Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA), while many other countries saw a decline in academic performance. The report cited the use of EdTech as a key factor contributing to Korea’s educational success.”
